Manganese metal Mn95


Manganese metal is used as a deoxidant and alloy additive for special steel sorts, as well as in chemical industry. As for chemical composition and physical properties, it should meet the requirements of ГОСТ/GOST 6008 – 90.

Grade and chemical composition of metal and nitrogenized manganese should correspond to the requirements of the table below.

There are the following grades of metal and nitrided manganese: Mn965, Mn95 – in lumps not bigger than 15 kg. Lumps heavier than 15 kg should not exceed 3% of the batch weight. Small fractions going through a sieve 10х10 mm should not exceed 10% of the batch mass.Mn87Н6, Mn89Н4, Mn91Н2 – in lumps not bigger than 15 kg. Small fractions going through a sieve 10х10 mm should not exceed 20% of the batch mass.
